Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress who is famous for her performance as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction series Revolution, for which she is nominated to win a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Spiridakos is from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Greek-born parents. They moved the family to the Greek town of Skala located near Sparta in the year she turned four, and returned to Canada when she turned nine. She is strongly committed to her Greek heritage, and speaks fluently in Greek. She was a 2000 graduate of Oak Park High School Winnipeg. Spiridakos relocated from Vancouver for the 2007 season to study acting. She was able to act within a couple of weeks and landed her first television role in a minor part of Supernatural. After a couple of years working on TV, Spiridakos won her first major part as a starring role on Majority Rules in the year 2009.
