Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor at St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother working. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They were engaged by 2009 when they were married. They married with a civil ceremony on December and renewed their vows in an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couples list. They were also named by E! as the top couple on TV in 2013.
